I am an Artist, Professor, and Teacher. I studied at F.I.D.M & PC and transferred to UA-Little Rock. I have had gallery shows within the USA and outside of the USA. I received both my Bachelor of Arts in Art and English/Literature & Creative Writing, Certification in EIT Interdisciplinary Program, and I have completed (changed my mind) my Master’s of Education. Now, I am focused on my Ph.D. program (English while simultaneously doing M.F.A for Art). Transitioning from teaching Asian students (TESOL) in Japan and China, I currently taught AP Art at Bryant High School, English at J.A. Fair High School, 9th to 12th, Higher and Adult Education for 2 years, EHS (2018-2019) where I also taught 7th – 8th grade (1 8th grade Honors class) and 12th grade AP English Literature & Composition and helped with after-school activities for MTG (Magic: The Gathering) and D&D (Dungeons & Dragons). I enjoyed teaching overseas in Asia. I also enjoyed my contribution and creating curriculum during my journey.
There are many areas I enjoy teaching and the core of my teaching is through empathy, which follows: embrace, empirical, and employ. As both, a verbal and visual learner, I always like to include fun visual activities within and outside of the classroom for my students.
